1
Cut a sheet of paper from the portrait paper block to 4.3 x 6.7 inches (11 x 17 cm).
2
Slide this paper into the black rectangular passe-partout.
3
For the head of the cartoon girl, first draw a circle and then a curved horizontal and vertical guide line.
4
Draw the eyes on the horizontal line and the mouth and nose in the lower part of the vertical line.
5
Draw the ears slightly below the horizontal guideline. The hairline is drawn just below the top of the skull and a little above. Draw the little buns on the left and right.
6
For the body, first draw a rectangle, then the arms like a matchstick. Next, add volume to the drawing by widening the lines.
7
Trace the drawing using the Edding 0.5 mm fineliner. Let it dry for a little while before you erase the pencil lines.
8
Use the Edding 0.7 mm fineliner to colour in the hair. Do not colour all of the hair to create highlights. Finally, colour the mouth and leave a little white for the teeth.
