Use a special Christmas tree die to make an original Christmas tree Advent calendar. This DIY is perfect for Christmas crafting and instantly adds a festive atmosphere to your home. Fill the mini Christmas trees with sweets, small gifts or kind notes and count down to Christmas in a creative way!
Choose three shades of green cardstock and one sheet of brown cardstock. Use the smallest cutting die from set 3625-0611 for the lightest shade. The darker the cardstock, the larger the cutting die you use.

Decide how many trees you want to make. Cut the desired number from each die and each colour of cardstock.

Stamp the advent numbers onto the lightest green shape using (black) ink.

Fold along all the score lines. Use a bone folder to create crisp, neat folds.

Glue the three green shapes together to form separate tree sections.

Apply small pieces of foam tape to the top of the two darkest green tree sections so you can layer them later.

Stack the tree sections, fill them with a small gift or a sweet treat, and glue the brown base to the inside of the darkest green tree section. Your mini Christmas tree advent calendars are now complete! Decorate them further if you wish.
