Create a cheerful Christmas stocking with a handy little box on the back! A fun Christmas crafting project to hang and fill with small gifts and sweets.
Cut a piece of paper measuring 9 x 9 inches (22.9 x 22.9 cm). Score it at 4 inches (10.2 cm) and 5.7 inches (14.6 cm) (follow the envelope box instructions).

Score all sides of the paper.

Cut off one short side with a paper trimmer or scissors.

Continue cutting the paper as shown in the example above.

Fold the box along the glue tabs.

Glue the large flaps together.

Print and cut out the template (found at the top of the page).

Place the template on the back of your patterned paper.

Cut out the shape.

Use the template again to trace the toe and heel, and round off the edges.

Glue all the pieces together. Decorate your stocking with bells, fabric, a name or any fun embellishments you like!

Apply glue to the folded side of the box.

Attach the box to the back of the stocking.
