Create your own book with the Thermal Cinch. Great for personalised journals or scrapbooks, or as a unique gift!

Gather all the paper and other supplies needed to make a book with the Thermal Cinch.

Cut two pieces of scrapbook paper measuring 8.3 x 5.8 inches (21 x 14.8 cm). These sheets will form the cover.

Take a Thermal Cinch spine and cut it to 8.27 inches (21 cm).

Choose a sheet of scrapbook paper with a fun text and cut out the design.

Cut a rectangle from another sheet of paper that is 0.4 inches (1 cm) longer and wider than the text rectangle.

Take the 3-in-1 heavy-duty corner punch. Punch the rectangles for the text with the 10 mm corner. Punch the sheets for the cover on one long side with the 20 mm corner.

Choose the paper for the inside of the book. You can choose anything from mixed media paper to sketch paper. Here, watercolour paper has been chosen. Punch two corners on one long side with the 20 mm corner.

Stick the cover sheets into the spine of the book. Leave a small gap until the middle of the adhesive strip on the cover.

Place the inside pages in the cover. Make sure everything is centred, then secure it with a paper clip.

Turn on the Thermal Cinch and let it warm up. Place the book in the Cinch and press the timer button.

Leave the book in place until the timer has finished. Then, to cool down, place the book at the back of the device.

Wait until the book has cooled down. Stick the text onto the front of the book with double-sided tape.

Optional: Add an elastic band to keep the book closed.
