1
Collect a few toilet paper rolls.
2
Cut a piece of paper to size. First measure the height of the roll. Apply glue to one edge of the paper and stick this edge to the toilet roll.
3
Then apply glue to the rest of the strip of paper and wrap the paper around the roll until it is completely covered.
4
Press the paper firmly so it sits neatly around the roll. Your roll should now look like this.
5
Take a piece of paper and draw the butterfly wings.
6
Carefully cut out the wings.
7
Using a hot glue gun, apply a small amount of glue to the centre of the wings.
8
Place the toilet roll directly onto the wings before the glue sets.
9
Bend a piece of pipe cleaner in the middle to create two antennae.
10
Twist the ends of the pipe cleaner around a pencil to create curls. Do this on both sides.
11
Apply a little glue to the bent middle section of the pipe cleaner.
12
Place the pipe cleaner inside the top of the roll before the glue dries.
13
Decorate the butterfly with markers, glitter glue, or other decorations.
