Folding gift boxes with a cutting die
Make your own gift packaging with this cheerful DIY and discover how easy it is to fold cute gift boxes with a cutting die and paper. Perfect for small gifts, party favours and creative surprises with a personal touch.

Pick an A5 sheet with a safari print and position the cutting die to cut out two shapes.

Fold all the scored lines after cutting the shapes twice. Keep the four 'waste' squares separate.

Adhere the two shapes together to form the base of the box.

Cut four rectangles measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm from another sheet with safari print.

Decorate the boxes by affixing the cut rectangles and the previously saved squares.

Fold the sheet into a box and secure it with glue or double-sided tape.

Select a plain sheet of paper and cut out labels measuring 6 x 3 cm.

Stamp a fun message onto the labels.

Round the corners and make holes in the labels with a 3-in-1 corner punch.
