Make a soft, colourful pumpkin using pipe cleaners. Great as an autumn decoration and very easy to make, even with children.

Use orange and yellow pipe cleaners, a total of 5 colours. Take 3 pipe cleaners of each colour and 4 pipe cleaners of one colour (keep the extra one aside). Also add one green pipe cleaner.

Cut the 15 orange/yellow pipe cleaners in half.

Shape each half pipe cleaner into a circle and twist the ends to secure it.

Make circles in all the colours and divide them into 6 little piles (each pile should contain one circle of every colour).

Take the extra orange pipe cleaners you set aside and thread all the circles onto it.

Fold the green pipe cleaners in half and attach it to an orange circle (this will be the stalk).

Pinch all the circles together in the middle and twist the threading pipe cleaner tightly around them.

Finally, wrap the green pipe cleaner around a pen to make it curl. Spread out the circles evenly and your pumpkin is ready!
