Crafting a paper hedgehog

Crafting a paper hedgehog

Crafting with children is even more fun in autumn: make a cute hedgehog as seasonal decoration and bring the autumn atmosphere into your home.

1
For this craft you will need sticker cardstock. We have chosen the set with warm autumn colours. You can use them all or just pick a few.
2
Take a sheet of brown sticker cardstock and draw on it: one large oval (the body), two small ovals (the feet), and a triangle with an ear attached (the face). See the photo for reference.
3
Cut out all the shapes, these form the base of your hedgehog.
4
Take the other coloured sticker cardstock sheets and punch out some leaves in each colour.
5
Use the large oval (the body), peel off the backing from the leaves, and stick them onto the body. You can place them randomly or in a pattern.
6
On the face, draw an eye, a nose, a mouth, and the outline of the ear.
7
Remove the backing from the face, but leave it on the nose area. Stick the face onto the body and then place the backing back on the nose so the hedgehog doesn’t stick to everything.
8
Finally, stick the feet onto the hedgehog and it’s finished! Perfect for playing with or as an autumn decoration.
