Spray the foam balls yellow with spray paint for a smooth finish, or paint them with acrylic paint and a brush. Stick the balls onto skewers to keep your hands clean and place them in a glass to dry.

Cut two 10 cm pieces of aluminium wire and bend them into the shape of chick feet. Make two, one in mirror image, to create a left and right foot.

Cut another two 10 cm pieces of wire and fold them a third of the way along to make wings. For the beak, use a 5 cm piece and bend it into a V-shape.

Assemble the chick by attaching the head to the body with a small piece of wire.

Then, insert the feet, wings, and beak into the chick.
