1
Take a sheet of white cardstock, cut it to 8.2 x 8.2 inches (21 x 21 cm), and score it at 4.1 inches (10.5 cm). This will be the base of the card.
2
Next, cut a sheet of black, yellow, and white cardstock to the following sizes: black: 3.9 x 8 inches (10 x 20.5 cm), yellow: 3.7 x 7.8 inches (9.5 x 20 cm), white: 3.5 x 7.6 inches (9 x 19.5 cm).
3
Glue the black and yellow sheets onto the base card.
4
Lay down the white sheet and playfully arrange various sizes of hexagon cutting dies on it. Run it through a die-cutting machine.
5
Attach this white sheet to the card using foam tape.
6
Now, take a light yellow sheet of cardstock and cut out two sizes of hexagons. For an extra playful effect, layer two cutting dies together to create a border.
7
Use the bee dies from the Sizzix set. Cut the bodies out of black paper, the wings out of white paper, and the stripes on the back out of gold glitter paper.
8
Assemble the bees and layer all the parts together.
9
Then, glue the bees and the die-cut hexagons onto the card.
10
Complete the card by writing a cheerful message on it with a fineliner.
