1
Take two sheets of A5 woodgrain paper and emboss the base shape of the box twice using an embossing machine.
2
Grab another A5 sheet with a woodgrain pattern in a different colour, place it in an embossing folder, and run it through the machine.
3
Secure the embossed paper onto a work surface with washi tape, then overlay the stencil with the matching pattern. Apply ink to the stencil using a dauber or blending brush.
4
Take a third sheet of woodgrain paper in a different colour and cut out the large base shapes using a die-cutting and embossing machine.
5
Cut out the small decorative shapes from the embossed and stencilled paper.
6
Repeat this process following the numbers indicated in the photo.
7
Stack and adhere the triangles and diamonds, affixing the hearts onto the squares.
8
Take the two sheets of paper from the first step and fold along all the scored lines.
9
Join the two shapes together with adhesive.
10
Attach the decorative triangles and diamonds to the base shape of the box.
11
Half an area is left open for a diamond; you will glue this later when folding the box.
12
Fold the box closed and glue it in place. Make sure all the corners are neatly folded.
13
Glue the flaps to the bottom of the box. Put a present or surprise in the box and then glue the top of the box closed as well.
14
Finally, stick the squares with hearts on the top and bottom. Your geometric box is now ready!
