Create adorable mini envelopes from patterned paper and attach them to paperclips. Perfect as journal decorations or for slipping in a small message to give as a gift!
1
You’ll need: patterned paper, paperclips, a super jumbo flower/envelope punch, a keyring heart punch, some glue, a journal, and a fineliner.
2
Start by picking a few fun paper designs you’d like to use for this project.
3
Use the super jumbo punch to cut a shape from each sheet.
4
Fold all the half circles inward to form a cute mini envelope.
5
First fold in the left and right flaps. Then apply a little glue to the edge of the bottom flap and stick it down.
6
Cut small squares of ivory-coloured paper, 1.3 x 1.3 inches (3.3 x 3.3 cm).
7
Write a fun message, quote or note on each square using a fineliner.
8
Punch small hearts using the heart punch and stick them on the envelope flaps.
9
Use a small square of foam tape on the bottom edge of the flap, so the envelope can open and close.
10
Take the paperclips and add a bit of glue to the end. Stick an envelope on top, press firmly, and let it dry well. You could also use a glue gun for extra strength.
