1
Take a Styrofoam ball with a diameter of 12 or 15 cm. Cut out a piece of Powertex paper deco that is large enough to cover the ball.
2
Coat the ball with transparent Powertex and cover it with the piece of paper deco. Then coat the paper deco with Powertex as well.Cover the paperdeco in Powertex again.
3
Pin the paper in place on one side with eye pins to shape the tail.
4
Cut out two small pieces of paper deco and coat them with Powertex. These will become the fins.
5
Use two small pieces of paper deco to make the eye sockets. Coat these with Powertex too and stick the wiggle eyes underneath.
6
Then shape the mouth in the same way.
7
Make spikes by threading beads onto eye pins. Push them into the fish wherever you like.
8
Cut off a piece of hemp cord and pin it to the top of the fish with an eye pin. Secure it extra firmly in place with Powertex.
9
Once everything has dried thoroughly, the fish can be hung up by the cord. Extra tip: the Powertex fish can also be hung outdoors. If you only want to hang it indoors, you can replace Powertex with Mod Podge glue. Please note: this is not rain- or wind-resistant.
