Decorate your own seashells using acrylic markers and turn them into cheerful, colourful mini artworks. Great as decoration or as a little gift!

Choose a few fun colours of acrylic markers. In this example, the small Edding Acrylic Starter Set Nordic was used.

Collect some seashells and clean them with water and soap. Dry them thoroughly. Want a light base? Start by colouring the shells white with a white acrylic marker.

Give each shell a base colour from the set. Let them dry completely on a tissue or sheet of kitchen paper.

Now for the fun part: decorating the shells! You can add horizontal or vertical stripes, dots, or other patterns.

Let your creativity run wild and come up with your own colour combinations and designs. Be sure to let the paint dry well between layers.
