Making a paper pinwheel

Making a paper pinwheel

Follow these simple steps to create a colourful cardstock pinwheel. Perfect for decorating or for a fun and creative crafting project!

1
Cut 8 square sheets diagonally in half. We used 12 x 12 inches (30.5 × 30.5 cm) cardstock in rainbow colours, but any square sheet will work.
2
Apply glue to the 90-degree corner.
3
Stick this corner onto a punched circle.
4
Follow the order of the rainbow colours and keep attaching the 90-degree corners to each other.
5
Rotate each sheet by 45 degrees to keep the circle nicely rounded.
6
The final colour may not line up perfectly, but this won’t affect the end result.
7
Add glue to the outer point and fold it towards the centre.
8
Then apply glue to the middle of the pinwheel.
9
Finally, stick a circle in the centre of the pinwheel for a neat finish.
