Make a sturdy book cover with Bind Easy

Want to make your own sturdy cover for a book, planner or notebook? In this DIY, Bind Easy helps you create a neat base that you can cover, decorate and finish in your own style. It is a lovely idea for anyone who enjoys personal paper craft projects.

1
Cut two pieces of greyboard measuring 8.3 x 5.8 inches (21 × 14.8 cm) (A5).
2
Apply glue to the greyboard and spread it evenly with a silicone brush.
3
Cut a sheet of paper measuring 9.8 x 7 inches (25 × 18 cm) and stick it onto the greyboard.
4
Place the book cover guide in one corner, cut away the excess corner with a craft knife and repeat this for all four corners.
5
Apply glue to the flaps with the silicone brush.
6
Fold the flaps neatly inwards and press them down firmly.
7
Your cover now looks like this.
8
Cut a sheet measuring 20 × 14 cm for the inside of the cover. This is slightly smaller than the cover itself.
9
Apply another even layer of glue to the inside of the cover.
10
Stick the inner sheet in place. Your cover is ready!
