Make a handmade keyring for Father’s Day

Create a cheerful keyring with wooden beads, felt and paint. This DIY is a lovely idea for Father’s Day crafting and makes a personal gift for dad, grandad or another special person. Add colours, initials or small details to make the keyring completely unique.

Draw a smiley face on a wooden bead using a black fineliner.

Then paint another wooden bead in a colour of your choice.

Draw the shape of a cape onto red felt and cut it out.

Use a hole punch to make a hole in the middle of the narrow side of the cape.

Attach a piece of macramé cord to a keyring. First thread on the smiley bead and then the cape.

Next, thread the painted bead onto the cord as well.

Trim the cord to your desired length and gently separate the ends of the macramé cord for a playful effect.
