Die-cut, fold, glue! With this simple folding die you can cut 5 equal parts to make beautiful Christmas stars to decorate your Christmas tree or home. Let’s create the real Christmas feeling with Christmas crafts from Vaessen Creative!
1
Take a sheet of Florence cardstock paper and the folding die from Nellie Snellen. Punch the same shape 5 times from this piece of paper. The 5 parts assembled will create the star.
2
Fold the die-cut shapes along all the crease lines.
3
Fold each individual shape and glue the adhesive flaps together using glue or double-sided tape.
4
Then, glue the 5 figures together to form a star.
5
Use the HO-HO-HO die 3x with two colors of cardstock paper.
6
Use the folding die again with a different color of paper. You can now use the small stars as decoration for the star ornament.
7
Decorate the star with the smaller stars and the HO-HO-HO text. If needed, attach a satin ribbon to the top to hang the star.
