Bring the holiday season to life with Christmas crafting and create your own beautiful Christmas trees. With just some jute cord, a foam cone and glitter paper, you can make stylish festive decorations — perfect for your home or as a handmade gift.

Take foam cone(s) in various sizes and wrap them in cling film.

Take jute twine and wrap it around the cone. Do not wrap the twine beyond the cling film and make sure to use enough twine to give the tree stability later.

Using a brush, generously apply Mod Podge over the jute twine.

Let the Mod Podge dry for 1 hour. Carefully remove the jute tree from the cone before the glue is completely dry and hardened. Also, remove the cling film. Allow the tree to fully harden until it stands firm.

Use glitter paper and punch out plenty of stars.

Stick the stars onto the trees. Tip: For an extra cosy effect, you can place an LED tealight under the tree. Note: Do not use real candles due to fire hazard.
