Create your own Valentine’s card with hearts

Create your own Valentine’s card with hearts

Make Valentine’s Day extra special with a handmade card! This creative DIY shows you how simple and fun Valentine’s crafting can be. Write a personal message or the question of the year (“Will you be my Valentine?”) and give a card straight from the heart.

1
Choose 5 different types and/or colours of paper. We used sheets from the Florence Christmas multipack. Also, have the heart-shaped punch set ready.
2
Using each punch from the set, punch a heart from each sheet of paper, making a total of 3 x 5 hearts.
3
Fold all hearts precisely in the middle. Optionally, use a scoring board or tool for a clean, crisp fold.
4
Create 5 heart combinations by combining 3 different types of paper and sizes. Apply a bit of glue on the back along the fold line to stick the hearts together, resulting in 15 layered hearts.
5
Take a Florence kraft slimline card and 2 sheets of paper of your choice. Cut one sheet to 4.1 x 8.5 inch (10.5 x 21.5 cm) and another to 3.9 x 8.2 inch (10 x 21 cm). Affix these to the card.
6
For an even distribution, mark where the hearts should be placed. Attach a glue dot to these marked spots.
7
Now, take the layered hearts and affix them to the glue dots.
8
Finally, write a sweet message inside the card to finish it off!
