Create your own cheerful jellyfish using glitter paper, crepe paper, and googly eyes. A fun and colourful craft project for kids!
1
Choose two colours of glitter paper from the Vaessen Creative Fun Kit 2. Use a glass jar (about 2.5 inches/6.5 cm in diameter) to trace three circles on each sheet.
2
Cut out the circles neatly. Don’t feel like cutting? Use a circle punch to punch out three circles from each colour.
3
Fold all six circles in half.
4
Take two colours of crepe paper and cut three strips of about 12 inches (30 cm) from each colour.
5
Fold a chenille stem in half, make a small loop in the center, and twist the two ends together.
6
Take one folded circle, apply glue to one side, and stick a strip of crepe paper to the bottom. Repeat with the other circles, alternating the colours.
7
Once all the strips are attached, add glue to the center of the circles and press the loop of the chenille stem onto it.
8
Glue the outer sides of the circles together to form a ball shape.
9
Finish your jellyfish by adding two googly eyes. Feel free to experiment with different colours – let your creativity run wild!
