Looking for a sweet way to give a Valentine’s gift? While crafting for Valentine’s Day, you can easily make this cute paper owl box yourself. Fill it with a small gift or a heartfelt note and surprise someone with your handmade creation.

Take two sheets of A5-sized hand lettering paper in ivory and kraft colours. Use a die-cutting machine to cut out all the shapes.

Fold the bottom of the box along the score lines and secure the corners with glue. You now have a small box.

Add a silver edge to all the die-cut shapes using a dauber and silver dye ink.

Assemble the front of the owl by layering all the parts on top of each other.

Repeat the same process for the back of the owl.

Take the box from step 1 and attach the front and back of the owl to it.

Punch out two hearts from red cardstock paper.

Give the edges a silver touch with a dauber and write a personal message on it. Your box is now ready to be filled and presented as a thoughtful gift.
