Cut a 5.3 x 3.5″ rectangle out of black cardstock.

Score a line along the longer side (length) at 1.8 and 3.5 inches.

Punch the two outer corners on one long side of the rectangle. This way, you only have to punch through 2 layers of cardstock in the next step – this helps to achieve the best result.

Fold the cardstock inwards on the first scored line and punch the outer corners again. Then, fold the cardstock open and repeat this step with the other scored line. Now, you have punched all the corners.

Fold the cardstock back open – now you can place the three houses upright.
