Handmade Christmas card using a Christmas wreath stamp

Handmade Christmas card using a Christmas wreath stamp

Creating a handmade Christmas card is a wonderful way to express your holiday wishes. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to easily create a beautiful Christmas card featuring a colourful and cheerful Christmas wreath. With the help of a Christmas wreath stamp and a cutting die, you can create this card with ease and in no time. If you prefer to use a different Christmas stamp, that's perfectly fine too! You can use this DIY guide as inspiration to create your unique Christmas card.

1
Start by stamping a Christmas wreath on smooth watercolour paper using waterproof ink, such as Stazon. We're using the Cuties Clear Stamps Wreath from Nellie Snellen, but you can use any other Christmas-themed stamp.
2
Use brush pens, coloured pencils, or watercolours to add colours to the design.
3
Using a hand lettering pen, write a Christmas message in the centre of the circle. If you prefer a different design, you can place the message above or below.
4
Take a 13.5 x 13.5 cm green Florence cardstock card measuring and cut a 13 x 13 cm sheet of red cardstock.
5
Die-cut your stamped image using a circular cutting die slightly larger than the design.
6
Using a slightly bigger cutting die, cut a circle out of glitter paper.
7
Now that all the components are ready, it's time to assemble them to create the card. Begin by gluing the red cardstock to the front of the green card. Next, take the circle with the design and glue it in the centre of the glitter circle. Finally, attach this whole piece in the middle of the card to complete the Christmas card.
