Create unique and modern indoor Christmas decorations yourself quickly and easily. All you need to make these jute Christmas trees is one or more Styrofoam cones, a lot of jute cord, glue and glitter paper. This exclusive Christmas decoration looks great on the window sill but also makes a great gift.

Mix variously sized Styrofoam cones and wrap them in cling film.

Wrap some jute rope around the cone. Do not wrap the rope any further than the cling film and use enough rope to give the tree strength.

Using a brush, apply Mod Podge over the jute string. This should be applied generously.

Let the Mod Podge dry for 1 hour. Carefully remove the jute tree from the cone before the glue is completely dry and hardened. Also, remove the cling film. Now leave to harden until it's a sturdy little tree.

Use glitter paper and a paper punch to cut out lots of stars.

Stick the stars onto the trees. Tip: For an extra decorative effect, place a LED (!) candle under the tree. Please note! Do not use real candles because of a fire hazard.
