Cardboard has many variants, such as acid free photo cardboard, cardboard printed double-sided, corrugated cardboard and matt and gloss cardboard. The paper sheets are available in all formats. Cardboard versus paper
Cardboard and paper are made in the same way and from the same raw materials. Cardboard is thicker and heavier. It's stronger and less easy to fold. Corrugated cardboard is produced differently from other types of paper and cardboard, because layers are glued to each other.
