The Vaessen Creative ink roller (brayer) is ideal for applying and evenly distributing ink, (acrylic) paint, and other mediums on various surfaces for painting, card making, stamping, stenciling, and scrapbooking. It is also essential for applying vinyl and flex foil onto a cutting mat or working with gel press or mixed media plates. You can also use the roller on uneven surfaces – be careful with soft materials to avoid indentations.

There are two ways to use the roller: you can dip it into the paint or ink and then spread it over your surface, or you can apply the paint/ink directly onto your surface and then evenly distribute it with the brayer. This ink roller is 3.75 inches wide and is made of plastic and rubber. The rubber is easy to clean with water and soap. If your project is larger than the width of the roller, we recommend rolling gently and not applying too much pressure to your project. Lines may occur from the edges of the roller if you press too hard or apply too much ink/paint. To ensure a streak-free surface, always choose a roller that is wider than your project.
