Tsukineko • Emboss Pen II

The Emboss pen II by Tsukineko is specially designed for embossing. Embossing is a popular technique that adds texture and dimension to papercraft projects such as greeting cards, planners, photo albums, and more. The water-based ink dries quickly, in 20 to 30 seconds. The dual-tip marker has a 2 mm calligraphy tip for writing and a brush tip for drawing. Tsukineko’s embossing pens work well on paper, cardstock, glossy paper and tracing paper.

How to emboss:

1. Write or draw your design with the embossing pen.
2. Sprinkle embossing powder over the design until it is completely covered.
3. Wipe the excess powder off the paper with a dry brush and collect put it back in the jar for reuse.
4. Heat set the embossing powder with a heat tool for 20 to 30 seconds.

Now you have created a shiny design with a luxurious look. Great for official invitations, such as a wedding, baby shower or anniversary.

Tip: for coloured ink, use a transparent embossing powder to ensure the ink colour remains clearly visible.
