Ranger • Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils Kit 2

These watercolour pencils from the Ranger Distress line are made for colouring, shading and sketching in all kinds of creative projects. The set contains watercolour pencils with a strongly pigmented core that reacts with water. Because of that you work with them dry as a colour pencil or you lift colour with a wet brush for watercolour effects. These watercolour pencils work well on porous surfaces, such as watercolour paper and drawing paper, and suit techniques for illustration, journaling, cardmaking and scrapbooking.

The colours match the Distress colour palette, so you can combine these watercolour pencils well with other inks from the same line. You can colour directly onto your surface and then work the colour out with water for soft transitions or more depth. You can also build up layers with Distress Ink, Oxide, Sprays or Paint for extra effects in mixed media projects. The pencils give you a lot of pigment to work with and make this set suitable for both fine details and broader areas of colour.
