Tim Holtz Distress Markers from Ranger are pens that contain water-based Distress inks for colouring, stamping, journalling and more. The markers have two tips, making them ideal for a wide range of colouring techniques. The thin tip can be used to write or draw lines and the thicker tip can be used for inking, colouring and drawing stamps. The ink has the same properties as Distress Ink stamp pads.

Distress products are ideal for mixed media projects where several types of materials and techniques are combined. For instance, Distress Oxide, Distress paints and Distress stains have all been developed using the same colours, making them easy for you to combine. Distress markers can make a nice addition here. Just like other Distress products, the ink from the marker reacts with water. Once you add water the ink continues to react, for hours or even days. This property makes it possible to create watercolour effects. Always store Distress Markers horizontally to allow the ink to flow to both ends.
