Greyboard (also known as bookbinding board, chipboard or grey board) is a sturdy material made from multiple layers of paper. With a thickness of 1 mm, this acid-free board is light yet strong, making it ideal for creative projects that require a solid base but still need some flexibility. Use it for book covers, pages in an art journal, calendars, wall decorations, or for making boxes, scrapbooks, guest books or photo albums. The greyboard sheets are easy to cut, trim or die-cut, and can be glued, painted or decorated as desired. For precise cutting, we recommend a cutting mat, craft knife and safety ruler (700402-001 or 700402-002).
The 1 mm greyboard is lighter and easier to work with than thicker boards, making it perfect for projects that need to remain slim or easy to handle. For extra strong hardcovers or structural craft projects, 2 mm board is often chosen. This greyboard also fits perfectly in the Vaessen Creative Bind Easy binding machine (2021-400) for creating covers and bookbinding projects. This pack contains 10 sheets in A4 size. The 1 mm greyboard is available in different sizes (A4, A3 and 12 x 12 inches) and is sold per pack of 10 or 50 sheets.
