Each Mod Podge formula has the same three properties. You can use it as a transparent glue, sealer and finish on a variety of surfaces such as wood, glass, paper, paper mache, foam sheets, polystyrene, (some) plastics, fabrics, canvas, ceramics, metal and much more. Mod Podge is available in various finishes including matte and gloss. There are also special formulas for specific projects, such as Mod Podge Outdoor, Mod Podge Dishwasher Safe and Mod Podge Fabric.
