Vaessen Creative feels a strong sense of involvement in events around the world. Where possible, we give a helping hand. Since 2013, Vaessen Creative has sponsored causes and projects that make the world just that little bit better and more beautiful, such as the good cause that is Villa Ticca. Villa Ticca is a daycare center in Ecuador that provides disadvantaged children with a safe place to stay. Read more about Villa Ticca here.
We also helped on a campaign for JDRF Nederland, founded by the Wassink family. JDRF is a charitable organisation dedicated to researching Type 1 Diabetes in the ultimate hope of finding a cure for this illness. The craft materials we sponsored enabled the family to sell homemade key rings. All proceeds from this campaign went to JDRF.
In addition to these charities, Vaessen Creative also gives high priority to eco-friendliness. We do our utmost to be as green as possible in our work. For this reason, we turn old cardboard boxes into new packing material and only use sustainable wood for new boxes. These boxes bear the well-known FSC label, which means that the wood comes from responsibly managed forests.
