Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray makes it easy for you to apply ink to a larger surface area such as a card or scrapbook page. Add water to create an oxidised, chalky effect. Spray the ink through stencils, apply several layers, spray water over the ink and allow the colours to flow into each other. Once you add water the ink continues to react, for hours or even days. The handy spray cap allows you to spray the liquid ink in small quantities to achieve incredibly creative effects. Oxide spray is visible on light as well as dark paper.

Distress products are ideal for mixed media projects where several types of materials and techniques are combined. For instance, Distress Oxide, Distress paints and Distress stains have all been developed using the same colours, making them easy for you to combine. Distress Oxide spray can make a nice addition here.
