Tim Holtz Distress Paint from Ranger is a very fluid, water-based acrylic paint. The paint is well suited for use on stamps, paper, canvas, wood, metal, glass and plastic. Just like Distress stamping inks and stains, this acrylic paint reacts with water. Create artistic effects by adding water with a mister, or by using a blending tool and stencil to achieve yet another result. Once you add water, the paint will continue to react, for hours or even days.

Distress products are ideal for mixed media projects where several types of materials and techniques are combined. For example, Distress Oxide, Distress sprays and Distress stains have all been developed using the same colours, making them easy for you to combine. Distress paint can make a nice addition here. After use, clean your stamp or stencil with water and easily remove paint residue from stamps with a stamp cleaner such as the Ranger Clean It All Purpose Stamp Cleaner.
