Fuse beads

At Vaessen Creative you can find fuse beads in all imaginable colors and in various sizes, including maxi fuse beads. The fuse beads are supplied in bags of 250, 600 and 1000 beads, among other sizes, and there are even large tubs, for example with 3000 or 6000 beads in a range of colors.

Of course Vaessen Creative has Hama fuse beads and Perler fuse beads in its assortment. These are the best-known fuse bead brands in the world. You’ll even find striped fuse beads as well as long fuse beads (bead stems) that you can cut to size with a stem clipper.

Fuse beads examples/patterns

Are you looking for examples or patterns for fuse beads? Then take a look at the books from Perler with 110 fuse bead patterns. Hama has also published various inspiration books to help you if you’re seeking ideas for using fuse beads. Use these fuse bead examples to make really fun creations.

You need fuse bead pegboards for working with fuse beads. The basic figures such as a circle, square, star, heart and hexagon are available from Vaessen Creative in both large and small formats. There are also fuse bead pegboards in animal shapes, such as a butterfly, a whale, a crocodile, a frog, and a giraffe. And at Vaessen Creative you can even find fuse bead pegboards in other shapes, such as a ship, a car, a house, a flower, a girl or a boy.

You can try different challenges in filling the fuse bead pegboards. Take the butterfly, for example. You can choose to make the tips of the wings all in the same color and use different colors for the inner parts of the wings. The whole pegboard doesn’t have to be filled. Filling in some edges can create attractive effects.

Ironing fuse beads

Once your creation is ready, you’ll want to make the fuse beads stick together. This enables you to stand or hang up your work of art. The plastic fuse beads melt and fuse together when heated. For this you need the ironing paper supplied by Vaessen Creative.

Lay a piece of ironing paper over your creation and then iron lightly over your work. Make sure that you always iron your creation all over so that everything fuses together properly. Then let it cool for a few minutes before carefully removing it from the pegboard.
