This makes it even easier to apply stamping ink and paint onto small surfaces. The foam pads also make the use of stencils and templates very easy. Apply ink or paint with twisting movements to the surface of your choice and let the colours blend nicely. Ideal for making backgrounds, colouring cut-out shapes and creating artistic effects.

A blending tool is very suitable for mixed media projects where you combine various materials and techniques. Rub, wipe or dab the foam on the paper and vary the pressure to get differing results. Always work from the outside inward and begin with the lightest colour to achieve the best results. After this, you can build up the layers step by step. Use a new foam pad per colour or clean it well using water and soap. Extra foam pads are available separately.
